Catherine joined the Allliance FrançaiseTeam the day before the “stay at home” order.
Born and raised in France, she graduated from the Ecole Superieure d’Assurancesin Paris. She is a “serial expat”, after 7 years in Argentina and 5 years in Brazil. She is living in Overland Park for the last 10 months.
With their 4 daughters Cassandre, Cecile, Camille and Jeanne, she travelled the world with her husband, CEO of a French Animal Health Company. In every place she was involved in the country where she lived. In Argentina, she was Vice Presidente of Buenos-Aires Accueil (association which welcomes French and Francophone people). In Sao Paulo she was President of Sao Paulo Accueil. During the last 3 years, back in France, she coached Aquitaine (south west region) high school students, helping them creating their own startup company. She speaks Spanish and Portuguese and is actively learning English. She knows how difficult it is to properly speak a foreign language, and also knows the joy and satisfaction it brings in life! This is why she feels close to all the Alliance Française students working hard to learn her native language.
She is very excited to join the team, because she is passionate about interculturality, and claims she yet found a great group of people at AFKC.
