French in the Fast Lane
Take this class if you have never studied French or if it has faded
from your memory. The textbook will be: LEARN FRENCH THE FAST AND FUN WAY,
3rd edition, by Elisabeth Bouquin Leete, Barron's. The book will be
available the first evening of class at cost $13. Or you may purchase
it at Border’s,

Parlons de la France - Let's talk
about France
An exciting new class, Parlons de la France will be offered this term. Parlons de la France offers students the opportunity to
improve speaking skills toward the intermediate level. Conversations about
France will take place in the present, futur proche(immediate future), and
past, along with the opportunity to study these tenses. Class meets from
7:00-8:30pm, on Tuesday evenings, at the Academie Lafayette. . Class starts
on Tuesday, September 21. The textbook will be: Practice Makes
Perfect, Complete French Grammar by Annie Hemingway, McGraw Hill. The book
will be available the first evening of class at $10 or at

Beginning French 2
Take this course if you have ever studied French. It will move more quickly

Intermediate French
If you are capable of carrying on a simple conversation on everyday topics
such as dining, traveling, and weather, take this class. You may find it
useful to take Intermediate French several times to build up your confidence
before advancing. The teacher will provide materials by email. Class meets from
6:00-7:30 pm, on Tuesday evenings, at the Academie Lafayette. Class
starts on September 21 .

Advanced French Conversation
A high-functioning class, students must be able to carry on a conversation
on such topics at literature, news items, music, philosophy, and history.
The teacher will provide materials by email . Class meets from 7:30-9:00 pm, on

French classes at the Alliance Francaise feature
small groups and experienced, fluent speakers. Your class will be held
in a friendly, intimate setting with 5 or more students per class.
Classes are 10 weeks long and meet once a week in
the evenings. We enroll year round for our Fall, Winter, Spring, and
Summer classes, which are held at the Académie Lafayette.
