Become a member of the Alliance Française of Kansas City, a non-political, non-profit 501(c)(3) cultural organization, which offers classes and a host of events, programs and benefits on the French language and francophone cultures. We will keep you updated on all of our classes, events and the conversation group through emails and our website.
The Alliance Française was formed in Paris in 1883 by a community of notable French contributors to diplomacy, the sciences, and literary arts under Paul Cambon, Ferdinand de Lesseps, Louis Pasteur, Ernest Renan, Jules Verne, and Armand Colin, "Pour promouvoir le rayonnement de la civilization française à travers sa langue et sa culture."
While legally independent from the Alliance Française in Paris, the Alliance Française de Kansas City continues to further the goal of the original Alliance. We look forward to welcoming you as a member of the Alliance Française de Kansas City and hope to see you soon during one of our upcoming events.
Membership runs from September 1 - August 31 of each year. First-time members who join between April 1st and August 31st of the current year will their membership extended through August 31st of the following year.
