Fête de la Musique at 2016 Main Gallery

The Fête de la Musique, also known in English as World Music Day, is an annual music celebration that takes place on June 21. On Music Day, citizens and residents are encouraged to play music outside in their neighborhoods or in public spaces and parks. First celebrated in Paris in 1982, 2016 Main decided to host the very first Fête de la Musique in Kansas City this year.

From 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm, let's travel to the world of music with a live band, DJ performance, video immersion, and live painting on the theme of music. In addition to the event, Westport Cafe will be serving authentic French food, with cocktails by Sidecar Cocktail Co., as well as an optional wine pairing conducted by two French experts to bring new discoveries to your palate.
