AFKC Graphic Design Contest

The Alliance Française de Kansas City invites your students to enter our first graphic design contest! AFKC is looking for creative designs (see details below) to represent our organization on merch and flyers. The criteria: The winning designs will be determined by how well they represent our mission statement:

Connecting Kansas City to France and the French-speaking world
through language, culture, and community

• Contest Deadline: January 15, 2026
• Winner Announced: January 30, 2026

Eligibility

The contest is open to any high school student in the greater Kansas City area who is enrolled in a French course this year.
Participation in the promotion/contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these official rules.

Submission

Students may submit up to two entries, one for each of the categories.
Designs must be submitted in JPG and NPG format, to kkrause @ afkc.org (all attached)
The contest Deadline is January 15, 2026. 

Design Categories:

1. Full-color, and suitable for printing on flyers, notebooks, etc.
2. Maximum three-colors, for printing on a T-shirt, mug, etc.

AFKC reserves the right to use all designs for future marketing and merchandising purposes.

BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, YOU GUARANTEE THAT YOUR DESIGN IS ORIGINAL AND YOU AGREE TO GIVE COPYRIGHT TO AFKC IF YOU ARE THE WINNER.

Prizes

The winners will receive the following:

• A VISA gift-card for $100
• One piece of merch with their design on it
• Recognition on the AFKC website
