Participants may choose between a homestay with a French family or arranging their own lodging at a hotel
or Airbnb in Lyon (we can help).

Throughout your stay, you will be accompanied by AFKC’s President, Isabelle Guglielmi, who will serve as your on-site support from Thursday, May 28 through Saturday, June 6. Isabelle is a native from Lyon (almost), and grew up there.

Alliance Française de Lyon (AFL) students all share the same love of French language and were from different countries, cultures,
and perspectives. It was a great pleasure to interact with them and make lifetime friends.
Effective class experience, beautiful, historic city with lots to do and easy to get around walking or public transportation. The transportation card was great!
Very-well organized, great communication before and during the trip. The day trip to Annecy was the right call. The trip to
Oignt/Vineyard was also worthwhile.
Nice welcome from the AFL, good teachers, and liked being with students from other countries and cultures. Pleasant building (loved the
terrace!)
